Have you heard?
DIOR movie is coming! It's a
behind the scenes story of an eight week long process that took Raf Simons to
create his first haute couture show at Paris fashion house. The movie will give
us all a glimpse of the inspiration process, Simons studying designs at the
Dior archives and getting ready for the big day.
Can't believe it's
been 3 years already since Raf joined Dior. When in 2012 it was announced that
Belgian designer would become a leader of one of the most powerful fashion
houses in the world - some were surprised. The 'minimalistic' creator seemed
like an interesting choice for the artistic director of Dior. Simons proved
them all wrong. His recent collections are ideal examples of Dior's heritage
and his own style making Dior once again a hot and talked about label.
The movie will
premiere next month (In London on March 27th) and I myself cannot wait! How
