Vogue and Cigarettes: A star is born ... Lupita Nyong'o

It was an amazing Awards Season! Especially fashion wise. With Academy Awards finalizing few weeks of continuous events and parties, it’s time to look back and summarize the best of the best. There were the Hollywood stars, great movies, red carpets and impeccable style. Jennifer Lawrence tripped - again. Leonardo DiCaprio did not win the Oscar – again. But fortunately there were also some good things that happened for the first time like ... Lupita Nyong’o’ s many perfect style decisions on the red carpet.

I don’t think there is doubt in the world that Lupita was a true winner and star of the season. All of her dress choices seemed more than perfect. With her beauty and great joie de vivre it was a pleasure and so much fun to watch her. We all could tell she had a blast and the Oscar she received at the end of this journey was just a fabulous ending to the whole season.

I cannot wait what Lupita will come up with next but I am sure we can expect much more from her. Let me take this moment in sharing with you my favorite ‘Lupita moments’ from the past few weeks. Just in case you’re wondering – my favorite was a Ralph Lauren Collection dress – that color on her was just breathtaking!
