My top 5 favorite VOGUE covers of 2014
Ok so the year is over and it’s time to look into what happened in Vogue in the past 12 months. So judging by the name of my my blog you probably figured by now I’m a huge fan of ‘Vogue’ magazines. Each month I get the US and UK editions while other editions especially Paris, Spain and Italy as much as I can. I of course follow online what’s happening in all the editions all around the globe and today I’d like to share with you my top 5 favorite covers of the past year!

Not to miss - Givenchy in Madrid
If you’re going to Madrid in the next couple of
days or you’re an admirer of Givenchy’s work (in which case you simply must hop
on a plane and go!) there is one stop you must take upon your visit to the city
- The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. This is where you’ll be able to enjoy a
retrospective on of the greatest designers of the 21st century - Hubert de
Givenchy.
Anja’s scent
Anja Rubik
has been a face of many perfumes in the past. DKNY, Elia Saab, Chloé, Armani,
Fendi, YSL … the list seems to never end. It was then a natural step for the
supermodel to create her own fragrance. And she did! Last month ‘ORIGINAL’ hit
the ‘Inglote’ stores in the limited edition and here are few thoughts about it.

Lonesome Traveler
I’ve recently got back from a 3 week holiday in the States. It wasn’t my first time over there but it was the first time I was travelling by myself for such a long period of time and on a different continent. It wasn’t planned like this from the beginning but as we know the world has this funny way of changing your perfect plans and then you have to act accordingly. I love to travel and have spent some time of my life living abroad but it was always with some friends or host family. This time I knew it was all up to me. And of course before going there were some questions that popped into my mind like – What if something would happen? Whom would I call? What if I got robbed or worse ... I can tell you now that none of this thing happened and it was an amazing adventure I would remember forever and I am sure I’d repeat somewhere along the way.

Summer time in Vogue
I haven’t
been so excited about a Vogue cover for a very long time. Natasha Poly on the
cover of Vogue Paris June/July 2014 issue is everything which I could expect
from the French edition. The picture shot by Inez Van
Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin is fresh, imaginary, beautifully shot but ... still leaves
some parts to imagination. It feels so refreshing and I couldn’t love it more!
I am pretty
sure it’s my favorite cover of Vogue Paris since the reign of Emmanuelle Alt.
It feels so summery so that I feel like jumping into water myself. (Since my
holidays are 3 months ahead it would be pretty hard though J). I am definitely going to be
picking up this issue when it hits my local store.
What do you
all think about the cover?
